Mihai Margineanu – Cu fotografia ta

A new single, a new video, a new story drawn from the heart of Bucharest. The video for “Cu fotografia ta” is the result of a collaboration between Mihai Margineanu, Dan Tudor (director, actor and composer) and Iulian Moga (director).

The story is that of a troubadour trying to make some money with his music and some nearby musicians that come to help him out. A parallel story is that of a regular, shy, and clumsy guy with very sincere feelings, trying to conquer an unknown young woman that he has fallen in love with.

Through the musical genre – jazz manouche, typical of Paris in the ’30-’50, with a violin passage taken from the song “Belleville” composed by Django Reinhardt – and through the story itself, “Cu fotografia ta” captures the lively and bohemian atmosphere of old Bucharest.
